     I learned about photography as a young child always hanging around my uncle's camera shop and basically growing up learning about cameras and film.  It was he who inspired me to pick up a camera in high school and learn to see with it.  All his daily lessons on photography and life were invaluable.  Thanks Unk!

 

    After being an educator for over 30 years in both Mathematics and Photography, and often demonstrating how the two are so intimately related, I now can enjoy travelling to different parts of the globe to photograph life as I see it. I seek to convey emotional qualities of the places I photograph.  I enjoy travelling to places searching for that perfect image, hopefully being lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. Basically, it is telling a story visually.   I love meeting, interacting and making images of the people and places I come across.  Always practicing and constantly learning from others I interact with, my passion is to get that great image, whether making street shots, landscapes or that perfect portrait.
